Matipo Garage is a vehicle servicing and repair workshop located in Riccarton, Christchurch. We repair and service  all cars, 4 wheel drives and light commercial vehicles.

  • We are a member of the Motor Trade Association assuring our customers we meet motor trade standards, comply with the law and provide high quality  service in a safe environment.
  • We send out a WOF reminder when your next WOF is due.
  • We are an approved WINZ and insurance companies repairer.
  • We have loan cars available or we can provide drop-offs to your workplace or home if in the area (must be arranged in advance).
  • We have friendly qualified staff that provides first class service.

Matipo garage offers a range of quality automotive services, keeping your vehicle safely on the road. To ensure your new car warranty is maintained, we follow your vehicles service schedule and manufacturer’s specification.

We believe most major faults can be avoided, or at least picked up on early with regular maintenance. Today's vehicles have integrated electronic systems and high tech computers. We use electronic diagnostic equipment and software to identify and fix any issues.

warrant of fitness

A warrant of fitness (WoF) is a regular check that your vehicle meets the required safety standards, at the time of inspection. It’s the owner of the vehicles’ responsibility to keep the vehicle in warrantable condition at all times.
